Products manufactured by VINYLPLEX meet or exceed the requirements
of the American Society for Testing and Material specifications
for Type PSM Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Sewer Pipe.
SPECIFICATIONS - ASTM D3034
- PVC sewer pipe manufactured by VINYLPLEX meets the chemical,
physical and dimensional requirements of this designation;
when installed in accordance with ASTM D2321, standard practice
for underground installation of flexible thermoplastic sewer
pipe.
MATERIALS - ASTM D3034 - Paragraph
5.1-"The pipe shall be made of PVC plastic having a
cell classification of 12364 as defined in Specification
ASTM D1784."
The cell classification for VINYLPLEX PVC sewer pipe, SDR
35 and SDR 26, is 12364.
JOINTS - ASTM D3212 - Pipe
manufactured by VINYLPLEX meets the requirements for plastic
sewer pipe using elastomeric seals.
SEALS - ASTM F477 - Pipe manufactured
by VINYLPLEX meets the requirements of elastomeric seals
(gaskets) for joining plastic pipe.
