Of Conformance For Pressure Rated Pipe
Products manufactured by VINYLPLEX meet or exceed the requirements
of NSF International Standard 14 and 61 for potable water
pressure pipe and qualifies for the NSF Seal;
and also meets the requirements of the American Society
for Testing and Materials specification.
MATERIAL - ASTM D1784;Class
12454B, formerly designated Type I, Grade I (Compound) -
PVC materials used in the manufacture of pipe by VINYLPLEX
comply with this standard and are approved by NSF International
for potable water.
PIPE - ASTM D2241; PVC plastic
Pipe (SDR-PR) - Physical dimensions and tolerances of PVC
pipe manufactured by VINYLPLEX are within the requirements
of this standard and NSF International.
MARKINGS - ASTM D2241 - Pipe
manufactured by VINYLPLEX is marked for nominal pipe size,
type of PVC, schedule size, pressure rating at 73 degrees
F, manufacturers name and code and the NSF International
mark.
SEALS - ASTM F477 - Pipe manufactured
by VINYLPLEX meets the requirements of elastomeric seals
(gaskets) for joining plastic pipe.
